Kia Ora! We're Wooden Spoon and we LOVE ice cream.
The GOOD kind of ice cream. You know, the kind you can taste right now, imagining your favourite flavours.
When we started out, we made our ice creams from the bounty of fresh, local, everything around us, and served it up to our friends - making us quite popular at dinner parties! We soon realized we could make ice cream more often and for more people, while still keeping it handmade and local.
Our mission is to make unique, delicious craft ice cream; flavours you're definitely not going to find in your local dairy. We're inspired by all the fantastic ingredients that surround us as well as our childhood, and the fun treats we'd have as kids.
So that's what we do - we make ice cream for people who love eating ice cream.
